About the role
Responsible for providing patient care in a hospital setting. Duties include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with diagnostic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications accurately and following protocols
- Maintaining patient records and updating medical charts
- Assisting healthcare professionals during procedures
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting abnormalities
- Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited nursing program
- Current CPR certification
- Passing scores on the NCLEX-RN exam
Qualifications
Experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity
