Academic Clinician Faculty Position, VA Medical Center - Junior rank

About the role

The Philadelphia VA Medical Center (PVAMC) and the Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.

Responsibilities

• Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
• Providing care for patients with classical or malignant hematologic conditions and/or solid tumors
• Engaging in clinical investigation (optional for selected candidates)

Requirements

• M.D. degree
• Board certification or board eligibility in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology

Qualifications

• 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching required for the academic clinician track
