About the role

The Sydell and Arnold Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute is seeking highly qualified BE/BC noninvasive and invasive cardiologists to join our department of cardiovascular medicine in the Section of Clinical Cardiology at our Main Campus. We are particularly interested in candidates with specialized expertise/interest in Sports Cardiology, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, and Geriatric Cardiology. Candidates with expertise in other niche non-cardiac procedural areas may also apply.

Responsibilities

Cardiologists in the Clinical Section collaborate with other sections within cardiovascular medicine and with our outstanding cardiovascular surgeons to manage and deliver impactful and world-class care to patients with complex cardiac conditions, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. The position will provide opportunity for clinical and research productivity with a goal of attaining both national and international prominence. The ideal candidate will also be a passionate educator with a desire to contribute and mentor our highly accomplished fellowship trainees. The candidate will be an ambitious, motivated, physician who is committed to contributing to the growth and long-term goals of the department.

Requirements

  • A faculty appointment at a rank commensurate with experience is available at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University.
  • Must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine.
  • Experience in noninvasive and/or invasive cardiology is preferred.
  • Specialized expertise/interest in Sports Cardiology, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, and Geriatric Cardiology is desirable.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of an accredited residency program in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine.
  • Successful completion of a Cardiovascular Fellowship program.
  • Current Medical License in good standing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DEA and HIPAA certifications.

Pay

Minimum salary: $428,000
Maximum salary: $639,000
