About the role

The School of Public Health welcomes applications for an Academic Advisor 1 or an Academic Advisor 2 to join a team of advisors who are committed to student success at the University and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for all new and current students to assure that they are making timely progress towards degree completion.
• Reporting to the Director of Student Success, the advisor will be part of a collaborative culture that will help students succeed.

Requirements

• Academic Advisor 1: Bachelors Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR Masters degree and one (1) year related work experience
• Academic Advisor 2: Bachelors Degree and two (2) years of related work experience; OR Masters degree and one (1) year related work experience

Qualifications

• Related Experience: in a field related to academic advising or student services.

Skills

• Eager to build strong relationships with students.
• Enthusiastic to learn new skills.
