About the role

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State College of Medicine seeks a full-time BC/BE Addiction Psychiatrist.

Responsibilities

  • Join a growing academic addiction program working within a multidisciplinary team to advance innovative clinical care, education, and research in substance use disorders.
  • Work with strong academic and community connections and embedded learners.
  • Engage in nationally funded research, including participation in the NIDA Clinical Trials Network through the Appalachian Node.

Requirements

  • Must possess a MD or DO, or foreign equivalent.
  • BC/BE in Psychiatry with added qualifications in addiction psychiatry.
  • Demonstrated success in clinical addiction programs.
  • Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and DEA certification.
