Addiction Psychiatrist - Assistant Professor

About the role

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin, seeks a board certified / board eligible physician to join our expanding Addiction Program. In this position, you will provide expert intensive, outpatient addiction psychiatric care and participate in shared outpatient call coverage. You will work with an interdisciplinary team and collaborate on treatment plans and decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert intensive, outpatient addiction psychiatric care
• Participate in shared outpatient call coverage
• Work with an interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate on treatment plans and decisions

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
• State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin

Qualifications

• Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist

Skills

• Expertise in providing intensive, outpatient addiction psychiatric care
• Collaboration skills with an interdisciplinary team
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
