Troubleshooting and Installation
- Work with customers to offer appropriate warranty and product service options.
- Perform final stage checks and corrections for heating and cooling equipment.
- Diagnose and correct malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools.
- Locate causes of breakdowns for repairs.
- Assess customer needs and offer relevant products and services.
- Create and maintain a database of leads from retail, retail new construction, and product registration.
Customer Interaction and Relationship Building
- Build strong relationships with vendor partners to stay informed about the latest industry developments.
- Provide feedback on competition and company performance.
- Handle product registration for both retail and new construction installations.
Physical and Technical Requirements
- Lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
- Access attics and perform tasks requiring physical effort.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One year minimum of residential field experience.
- Two years of experience in start-up, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting HVAC service issues.
- Experience in retrofit and new construction HVAC installations.
- EPA Certification preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean motor vehicle record.
- Pass drug screen.
- Reliable HVAC tools.
