About the role

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of leukemia.

Qualifications

• M.D. or equivalent degree
• Board certification or board eligibility in hematology and/or medical oncology

Responsibilities

• Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, house staff, and medical students (100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching required for the academic clinician track)
• Patient care in the area of hematological malignancies (acute leukemia), including inpatient service with APPs, fellows, and residents, and outpatient clinic with an emphasis on clinical care and clinical research
