About the role
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of leukemia.
Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree
- Board certification or board eligibility in hematology and/or medical oncology
Responsibilities
- Teaching hematology/oncology fellows, house staff, and medical students (100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching required for the academic clinician track)
- Patient care in the area of hematological malignancies (acute leukemia), including inpatient service with APPs, fellows, and residents, and outpatient clinic with an emphasis on clinical care and clinical research

The Leukemia Program encompasses a busy inpatient service and an outpatient clinic. We seek candidates who embrace and reflect diversity in the broadest sense.
