About the role
The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track.
Responsibilities
- Expertise in the specific area of sickle cell disease and disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis.
- Board certification or eligibility in Hematology is required.
- Teaching responsibilities may include teaching medical students, residents, and fellows as well as advanced practice providers, pharmacists and their trainees.
- The academic clinician track requires 100 credits per year of active and high-quality teaching.
- Clinical responsibilities may include care of patients with sickle cell disease, disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis, and/or general benign hematologic conditions.
Requirements
- An M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
Qualifications
- Experience in the specific area of sickle cell disease and disorders of hemostasis and thrombosis is preferred.
