We’re looking to hire a Vice President within Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) US to support pipeline origination, deal structuring and execution as well as management of existing business book in New York, NY. The Bank’s hybrid working model expects employees in this role to work in the New York office.
Responsibilities
- Interact closely with others in Structured Credit and the Banking Coverage teams in an intense and demanding environment
- Be responsible for transaction origination and execution including pitching; asset pricing and valuation; interaction with the Global Markets trading floor, clients, attorneys, rating agencies and others involved in executing transactions; and leading the creation and presentation of client marketing presentations
- Provide exposure to a broad spectrum of asset classes from consumer to transportation while developing client relationships across corporate, fintech and institutional clients of the Firm
- Serve as an integral member of the team responsible for origination, structuring and marketing of ABS
- Coordinate the management of different aspects of securitization transactions including:
- Evaluation of new potential transactions, which involves comprehensive due-diligence of companies, market research, financial analysis and proposal of pitch ideas
- Active engagement with the client, the trading floor, attorneys, rating agencies and insurance providers involved in executing transactions
- Development of transactions’ timelines and responsibilities and ensuring the deal process stays on track
- Review and negotiation of underlying transaction documentation and deal structuring
- Mastery of rating agencies’ framework and guiding issuer clients through the entire rating process
- Development and presentation of marketing materials and presentations used to solicit new transaction mandates, working with the team to come up with novel ideas and solutions for Issuer funding requirements
- Monitor and interpret data affecting securitization programs, such as price, yield, stability, future trends in investment risks, and economic influences
- Monitor technical market trends and performance of industry participants (e.g., deal flow and corporate events)
- Lead internal groups within the Bank including the banking coverage teams, the trading desks, and sales, while working comfortably with external constituents
- Manage, lead, mentor, and develop junior resources
- Coordinate team activity and output across multiple jurisdictions
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree
- Superior analytical aptitude
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Strong computer skills: rigorous knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively both face-to-face and via telephone and email

Pay
The salary range for this position in New York City is $170,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location, and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
