Ability First Job Coach
About the role
The Ability First Job Coach provides hands-on, individualized support to people facing barriers to employment through personalized, on-the-job coaching and guidance. You’ll work closely with participants as they transition into and grow within competitive, community-based jobs, helping them build skills, confidence, and independence. The focus is on creating positive, lasting employment experiences and supporting long-term success in the workplace.
This position plays a key role in advancing Goodwill’s mission to empower people to achieve their most abundant life. Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on, individualized support to participants facing barriers to employment.
- Offer personalized, on-the-job coaching and guidance to help participants transition into and grow within competitive, community-based jobs.
- Assist participants in building skills, confidence, and independence in the workplace.
- Support the creation of positive, lasting employment experiences for long-term success.
Reporting & Supervision
This position reports to the Senior Director of Mission Services and works under their guidance. The Senior Director of Mission Services conducts annual performance evaluations.
Pay
$16 hourly
