About the role
Abelow Sherman Architects is a design-focused architecture firm based in New York City. We are involved in a range of work, mostly single-family residential, and including new buildings. We are looking for an individual with exceptional design skills, strong 3D skills, and experience in high-end residential design.
Responsibilities
- Produce the highest quality drawings
- Fluent with Vectorworks, the core tool in our workflow
- Experience using 3-D modeling software
- Showcase strong design sensibility in work examples
- Collaborate effectively with the design team and clients
- Juggle multiple assignments concurrently
- Communicate clearly and organize construction documents and design drawings
Requirements
- A minimum of three years professional experience
- Fluency with 3-D modeling software
- Experience producing clear, well-organized construction documents and design drawings
- Excellent English language communication skills
Qualifications
- Vectorworks expertise required
- Strong design sensibility in work examples
- Collaborative sensibility for design team and client interaction
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments concurrently
