About the role

Provide instructional services necessary to educate all students to high standards that align with district state and federal requirements guidelines and standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district and state standards.
• Assess student learning through various methods and provide feedback to improve academic performance.
• Engage students in active learning experiences and promote a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver effective instruction across grade levels and subjects.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.

Requirements

• Valid Indiana teaching license for the assigned grade levels and/or subject areas OR eligibility to obtain an alternative teaching credential.
• Knowledge of effective practices including principles, theories, procedures, and techniques used in lesson plan development and classroom instruction.
