2026 - 2027 School Year - 5th Grade Teacher

About the role

Crestview Elementary School is seeking a certified 5th grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is available in Springfield, TN 37172.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies using district-approved curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans and assessments aligned with state standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement effective instruction.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

• Current Tennessee teaching certificate in Elementary Grades K-5.
• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• At least two years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with differentiated instruction and technology integration in the classroom.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Pass a background check and meet all legal requirements for employment.

Skills

• Effective classroom management skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Schedule

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
