ABA Special Education Teacher (Early Intervention)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Special Education Teacher (Early Intervention) to join our team at White Glove Community Care in New York, New York. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality special education services to young children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. Responsibilities

• Provide individualized ABA therapy services to children with ASD and other developmental disabilities, ages 0-3, in their natural environments
• Develop and implement comprehensive ABA treatment plans in collaboration with parents, caregivers, and interdisciplinary treatment teams
• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to measure child outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to develop and implement behavioral strategies and skill-building activities
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, including session notes, assessments, and progress reports
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in ABA therapy and early intervention services

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education, or related field
• Experience working with children with ASD and other developmental disabilities in an ABA therapy setting
• Certification or licensure as an ABA therapist or early childhood special educator
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Familiarity with CIP and IFSP processes
