ABA Paraprofessional-- South Row Elementary School

Anticipated vacancy for the 2026-2027 school year at South Row Elementary School. The District reserves the right to change or not fill this vacancy based on staffing changes, enrollment, or budget.

About the role

The successful candidate will work with elementary school students in the STRIVE therapeutic program, supporting them in academic, social, and communication tasks. The role involves following and implementing curriculum and behavioral support plans, collecting data, and working as part of an interdisciplinary team of teachers, BCBAs, and related service providers.

Responsibilities

• Support students academically, emotionally, behaviorally, and socially in the school setting.
• Work as part of a team with teachers, BCBAs, and related service providers.
• Follow directions and implement accommodations and modifications as directed.
• Consistently collect data and follow behavior support plans.
• Assist students with toileting if needed.
• Knowledge of school classroom procedures, including preparation and maintenance of records.
• Knowledge of special education procedures.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities at the elementary school level.
• Experience working with age-appropriate students in a school setting.
• Interest in working with students with exceptionalities; experience with an Applied Behavior Analysis approach is preferred.
• Ability to build relationships with students and colleagues and provide ongoing support.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as a team member.
