What You’ll Do
- Make an initial assessment of clients' social and emotional needs, develop action plans, and implement them to successful completion (includes completing intakes as needed).
- Schedule psychological appointments for clients and manage related authorizations.
- Compile documentation and submit necessary updates to insurance entities for compliance, research, and evaluation purposes.
- Ensure cases are appropriately staffed based on client needs, providing guidance to match clinicians' skill sets with family requirements.
- Advise behavior health technicians on case assignments to optimize care delivery.
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and maintain accurate case files for clients.
- Collaborate with the Psychological Team, Billing Department, schools, and other external agencies to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide families with resources to support their children’s behavioral health needs.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, including covering absences or helping during peak periods to balance workloads.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, education, ABA, or a related field preferred, but an associate's degree in human services or related fields accepted.
- A minimum of one year of experience working in the field of social work, case management, or related behavioral health services.
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with parents, teachers, and professionals.
- A Bilingual candidate is a plus!!
