A1 Special Apprentice Inspector

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure that the services provided are performed in accordance with the project requirements and contract with the client.
• Ensure procedures followed & materials utilized conform to contract documents & applicable codes.
• Examine finished work to ensure compliance w/ regulations governing construction.
• Prepare samples of approved or unapproved materials for testing.
• Interpret blueprints & specifications.
• Perform calculations relative to inspection requirements.
• Write daily field reports.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be able and willing to work some weekends and occasional overtime.
• Strong communications skills and ability to use applications on a smart phone or tablet.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprint design plans and project instructions.
• Ability to write daily reports.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Pass a background check.
• Able to follow Construction Site Safety Precautions.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Compensation $33 - $33.76 hourly. The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state’s law. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
