About the role
The role of Corporate A/R Specialist will be responsible for commission and miscellaneous billing, collections of outstanding invoices, making deposits, and applying payments.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue accurate A/R invoices for real estate transactions and managed properties, including miscellaneous billings
- Proactively contact clients via phone and email to follow up on past due balances and resolve outstanding invoice disputes
- Process daily deposits and apply payments to the appropriate transaction in a timely manner
- Partner with A/R Manager to record revenue in accordance with company policies
- Support the A/R Manager and Director with special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years of A/R or Billing experience, preferably in commercial real estate or service industry
- Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and payment application process
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Skills and Characteristics
- Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments; delegate work and follow-up as necessary to receive desired result
- Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems, exercising good judgment
- Ability to manage a high volume of transactions with a high attention to detail
- Ability to take initiative and work with little direct supervision
- Ability to work in person 5 days a week
