A&P Mechanic (King Air, CONUS & OCONUS)
About The Role
Aery Aviation, LLC has career openings for A&P Technician/Mechanics, rotating CONUS/OCONUS. The job of the A&P Technician/Mechanic involves applying technical expertise to maintain aircraft according to OEM specifications and FAA regulations. Working conditions vary, ranging from comfortable environments to those with severe weather and hazardous conditions. Incumbents must work shifts and travel as needed to support operations.
Who We Are Looking For
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a current civilian driver's license
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must have a basic understanding of integrated avionics
- Must have working knowledge of aircraft safety directives
- Must be able to work shifts as assigned and travel as required to support operations
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years aircraft mechanic experience on King Air series aircraft
- Must have an in-depth knowledge of aircraft/vehicle movement and safety/hazards during flight line operations
- Must be in good physical condition and capable of completing and passing a physical exam and CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) course prior to deployment
- Must have proficient computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as maintenance database and tracking software
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim DOD SECRET security clearance
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Beechcraft King Air
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and technical issues to ensure aircraft airworthiness
- Accurately document all maintenance activities in compliance with company and regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to prioritize tasks and meet operational timelines
- Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures and ensure a clean, organized work environment
- Stay current on industry practices, tools, and technologies relevant to A&P-certified mechanics and modern aircraft systems
Requirements
- Active DOD SECRET security clearance
- Inspection Authorization (IA) is desired
- Rockwell/Collins Proline 21 experience is a plus
- Garmin G1000 experience is a plus
- Recent Beechcraft King Air experience on civilian and/or military platforms including Pratt & Whitney PT6 turboprop experience is highly desired
