What you will be doing as an A & P Mechanic
You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery
- Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines
- Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies
Requirements
- High school education or GED required
- A&P License required
- Knowledge of 100-hour, annual, and progressive inspection procedures as per FAR 43 is required
- A minimum of 2 year's experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance
