A/P Coordinator

About the role

Process all accounts payable for the division.

Responsibilities

• Set accounts payable department priorities.
• Research accounts payable problems and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter credit journal entries.
• Solve PO/Receiver problems as they occur.
• Perform month-end activities.
• Resolve and assist in any discrepancies with Headquarters Accounting.
• Follow all Food Safety policies, procedures, and regulatory criteria, including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable preferred.

Skills

• Good mathematical ability.
• Ability to define and solve problems, collect data, and relay information to interested parties.
• Strong research and investigative skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Pay

Hourly base range of $18.87 - $28.33. Ventura Foods reserves the right to pay outside of the given range based on candidate skills and experience, complexity of the job, budgetary factors, and location/geography.
