A/P CLERK (FULL TIME)

Location: Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston Salem, NC 27103

About the role

Compiles and maintains accounts payable records.

Responsibilities

• Reviews invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks
• Distributes signed checks as required
• Prepares garnishment checks per reports from payroll
• Acts as liaison between corporate and branch accounts payable departments
• Answers vendor inquiries
• Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files
• Assists Corporate Financial Officers and branch personnel as necessary
• Prepares cleared checks for storage
• Assembles and processes overnight shipments to branches
• Assists in monthly closings
• Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
• Performs filing and copying
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1 year of previous bookkeeping experience preferred

Schedule

Full time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay

$20.00 per hour to $23.00 per hour
