A La Carte Server - 222 Union Restaurant & Bar, Downtown New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities

• Taking specific, sometimes complex, item-by-item orders directly from guests
• Thorough understanding of ingredients, daily specials, and drink pairings to answer guest questions
• Staggering the delivery of appetizers, entrees, and desserts based on the guest's specific pace
• Sets the tables with dishes, utensils, and napkins
• Buses tables, removes dishes and linen at the conclusion of the event

Requirements

• Nights, weekends, and holidays required
• Flexible availability
• Good with POS systems and putting orders in
• TIPS - a plus but not a requirement
• Lifting 10+ lbs
• Pleasant, helpful personality to assure a positive experience for the guest and a positive work environment for fellow employees and management
• Must be able to take direction
• Present a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
