A Brush With Kindness Volunteer Opportunities

About the Role

A Brush With Kindness (ABWK) volunteers work to improve the condition of homes by painting, landscaping, and performing minor interior/exterior repairs. Many ABWK projects are completed by sponsorship groups, but there are also opportunities for individual volunteers.

ABWK projects are scheduled based on sponsoring group or homeowner availability and could occur on weekends or weekdays.

Weekday Warriors Program

Weekday Warriors is our weekly volunteer program for skilled volunteers looking to make a consistent impact through home repair work. Teams of up to 5 volunteers meet primarily on Tuesdays from 9am to 12:30pm, with flexibility for other weekdays, to tackle critical A Brush with Kindness projects that help homeowners stay safely in their homes.
