Programs

Play Like a Girl prepares middle school girls to become the next generation of women leaders by building confidence, connections, and career readiness early when it matters most. Our programs are delivered in partnership with schools and corporate partners and are always free to girls and their families, thanks to the support of donors, sponsors, and grants.

Impact

We use sport as a foundation not as the end goal, but as a powerful training ground where girls develop the leadership skills that drive long-term success. These include discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the ability to compete and lead under pressure. Through mentoring, hands-on STEM experiences, and career exposure, girls gain access to opportunities, networks, and role models they might not otherwise encounter. This opens doors to futures in high-growth, high-paying, male-dominated industries.

Volunteer Role

Volunteers in this role help us source in-kind product donations by reaching out to brands on our behalf. The impact is direct every product donated to a swag bag, event giveaway, or program supply reduces what we spend and extends what we can do for girls. This role benefits the girls we serve and the broader community we are building around them.

Background Checks

Background Checks are required for all volunteer opportunities, in-person and virtually. Volunteers are expected to cover the background check cost (~$17).
