Position Objective

Pack in a safe, efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality possible.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Available for overtime.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Available to train on different machinery and different lines.
• Forklift Operator Certification.
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all written and verbal safety rules that apply for the plant and department.
• Wear all personal protective equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping.
• Learn how to lace-up equipment.
• Learn all future tasks of the job and show continuous improvement throughout the training process.
• Name and use standard hand tools.
• Perform basic math such as adding, dividing, subtraction, percentages, etc.
• Read a tape measure down to 1/16".
• Locate and activate all E-stops on the machine in which they are being trained.
• Perform all daily tasks of data entry in the IBS Production System.

Work Environment Conditions

Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour.
