Responsibilities

• Perform routine operations to set up, operate, and adjust multiple polyethylene blown film extrusion lines with conveying and winding equipment to produce integral zipper plastic tubing
• Work from production goals, standards, schedules, manuals, detailed specifications, and consultations with bag department, shift leadership, maintenance, purchasing, and others
• Ensure availability of raw materials and requisition needed items
• Collaborate with shift supervisor and team members to establish and meet team production, scrap, and quality goals
• Perform simple calculations for daily production totals and quality results
• Maintain necessary production, quality, and equipment records

Work Environment

• Subject to extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour)
• Exposure to loud noises
• Hazards, such as moving machinery, electrical currents, debris, chemicals, and gases
