Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from retail and operational stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review current retail processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through Odoo configuration, automation, and integrations.
  • Support the implementation and optimization of Odoo modules related to inventory, purchasing, sales, warehouse operations, order management, reporting, and related workflows.
  • Work with technical teams to define functional specifications for customizations, API integrations, data migrations, and reporting needs.
  • Cook with developers and integration teams to validate that proposed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Coordinate with developers and integration teams to validate that proposed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Support user acceptance testing, issue tracking, validation, and release planning.
  • Create functional documentation, process diagrams, training materials, and user guides.
  • Train and support end users during implementation, rollout, and post-launch phases.
  • Help define KPIs, operational reports, dashboards, and data requirements for business users.
  • Act as a bridge between retail business teams and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Native Spanish or Portuguese languageB2 or higher level of English.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, ERP Consultant, or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience working with Odoo in a functional or business-analysis capacity.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory, purchasing, sales orders, fulfillment, warehouse processes, pricing, returns, and product management.
  • Experience gathering requirements and converting them into functional documentation and user stories.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementation, optimization, migration, or integration projects.
  • Ability to map current-state and future-state business processes.
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing and coordinating with technical teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with business users, developers, and project leadership.

Salary in USD.

Schedule

Type of contract: Independent contractor with Venon Solutions LLC.

Contract Duration: Long-term contract.
