94A Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer

About the role

The Army National Guard is seeking highly-mobile missile launchers to enhance their combat readiness. As a Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing missile electronic assemblies and tracking systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, mechanical, and circuit elements
• Repair unserviceable optical and infrared components
• Inspect, test, and adjust components to specific tolerances
• Perform quality control measures
• Test instruments and navigational controls
• Read technical diagrams and manuals to locate and repair instrument parts
• Replace equipment parts
• Work on the TOW antimissile system, DRAGON antitank guided missile systems, and Bradley Fighting Vehicle systems
• Train and supervise other Soldiers
• Provide technical assistance
• Install equipment modifications
• Develop skills for civilian careers in manufacturing, medical research, satellite communications, or commercial airline industry
• Gain ETA certification through extensive training

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or GED certificate
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
