About the role
The Army National Guard seeks Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairers to ensure highly-mobile missile launchers remain operational.
Responsibilities
- Determine shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, mechanical, and circuit elements
- Repair unserviceable optical and infrared components
- Inspect, test, and adjust components to specific tolerances
- Perform quality control measures
Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- At least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma/GED certificate
- Between the ages of 17 and 35
- Able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
- Meet citizenship requirements (see NATIONALGUARD.com for details)
Qualifications
Through extensive Army National Guard training, experience, and some additional study, you may be eligible for Electronics Technician Association (ETA) certification.

Schedule
After 10 weeks of Basic Training, you will attend approximately 22 weeks of classroom instruction, including practice in repairing and replacing equipment parts.
Pay
Actual MOS assignment may depend on MOS availability. Candidates may earn between $200 and $250 per drill weekend, subject to change.
