About the role
The Army National Guard seeks highly-mobile missile launchers to enhance its combat readiness. As a Land Combat Electronic Missile System Repairer, you will ensure that these launchers remain operational by testing and repairing missile electronic assemblies and tracking systems.
Responsibilities
- Determine shortcomings and malfunctions in electronic, electrical, mechanical, and circuit elements
- Repair unserviceable optical and infrared components
- Inspect, test, and adjust components to specific tolerances
- Perform quality control measures
Requirements
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- At least a junior in high school or hold a high school diploma/GED certificate
- Between the ages of 17 and 35
- Able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards

Qualifications
Through Army National Guard training, you will develop skills in electronics, use and maintenance of electrical and electronic test equipment, and equipment repair. You may also pursue Electronics Technician Association (ETA) certification.

Pay
Starting pay is between $200 and $250 per drill weekend, subject to change.
Schedule
After 10 weeks of Basic Training, you will attend approximately 22 weeks of classroom instruction, including hands-on practice in repairing and replacing equipment parts.
