The San Juan Unified School District is seeking a part-time (.5 FTE) teacher for the 2026-27 school year at their Rio Americano site.

Responsibilities

  • Teach assigned subjects to students in grades K-8
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Incorporate technology into teaching methods
  • Maintain classroom discipline and safety
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff
  • Participate in professional development activities

Requirements

  • Valid California teaching credential
  • At least two years of teaching experience
