About the role
As a Truck Driver in the Army National Guard, you are responsible for operating all wheeled vehicles and equipment over various terrain and roadways. Your primary duties include overseeing and checking proper loading and unloading of cargo on vehicles and trailers, employing convoy defense techniques, managing the safety of personnel being transported, identifying, correcting, or reporting vehicle deficiencies, and preparing vehicles for movement/shipping by air, rail, or vessel.

Requirements
- Experience in driver education
- Interest in driving and mechanics
- Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
- Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 35
- Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards
