About the role

The Sales Associate at Cosmoprof will focus on creating a memorable shopping experience for customers by recommending additional and complimentary products, informing them of current promotions and events, setting up advertising displays, arranging merchandise, and ensuring customers are enrolled in the Loyalty program. They will also complete transactions accurately and efficiently, maintain a professional store environment, and demonstrate Cosmoprof's Culture Values.

Responsibilities

• Create relationships and inspire loyalty among customers.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products to customers.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure customers are informed about and enrolled in the Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Cosmoprof Culture Values.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years of retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers, and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Able to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• May be exposed to fumes and odors upon occasion.
