Job Summary
The Outbound Material Handler is responsible for ensuring orders are picked, consolidated, packed, and shipped accurately and efficiently. This role involves the use of internal warehouse systems and various warehouse equipment.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve items from racking accurately and efficiently, using handheld scanning devices
- Sort and consolidate picked items using handheld scanning devices
- Prepare customer orders for shipment processing
- Pack products accurately and securely using internal SPS system or CVP machines
- Bundle and verify orders for shipment, ensuring order accuracy
- Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners, and computers, following all established protocols
- Load and stack packages into designated trailers, verify carriers, move palletized products as needed, and manage trailer lockout procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards
- Work closely with team members and leadership to meet departmental goals
- Flex into other positions and departments as necessary to support the overall operation
Requirements

- Regularly stand and walk, up to 12 hours per day
- Ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 lbs
Experience
- 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment; receiving and/or inventory experience preferred
Education
This role does not require a degree. Relevant skills and experience, along with alignment with core values, are valued above formal education.

- Work well individually or in a team environment for a full shift of 10 hours
- Business proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English
Wage
Starting wage is $23.50/hr, with the potential for a raise every 6 months up to $0.88.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly stand and walk, up to 12 hours per day
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and vehicles
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and gases
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment
- Occasional activities may involve exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity
- Passing through the work area involves employees
