About the role

The Little Falls Community School District is seeking a .83 FTE Construction Careers Teacher for the upcoming school year at the High School. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing hands-on learning opportunities and preparing students for future careers in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with hands-on learning opportunities and project-based learning experiences related to the construction industry.
• Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with industry standards and prepares students for future careers.
• Inspire students through real-world experiences and encourage their interest in construction-related fields.
• Collaborate with other teachers and industry professionals to enhance student learning and career readiness.

Requirements

• Hold appropriate licensure through PELSB.
• The District is open to considering candidates who may need to apply for an Out-of-Field Permission (OFP) through PELSB to serve in this position while meeting licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Experience in the construction industry or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of industry-specific tools and technologies.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

Compensation for this position is based on education and years of experience, in accordance with the EMLF Master Agreement. Please see the attached pay schedule for details.
