About the role
The Systems Architect supports a community-of-interest (COI) for migrating from on-premises to multi-cloud environments, supporting multi-tenant environments, and performing executive-level briefings. The role involves assisting with the research, design, development, accreditation, and maintenance of complex systems spanning all network fabrics.
Responsibilities
- Support the research, design, development, accreditation, and maintenance of complex systems spanning all network fabrics.
- Assist with executive level briefings related to COI migration efforts.
- Optimize cloud hosted systems for cost and performance efficiencies.
- Design, develop, or maintain systems used globally.
- Research and provide whitepapers on potential solutions to the Customer's technical needs.
- Evaluate Cloud Service Provider offerings for use with highly sensitive data.
- Articulate the best encryption techniques and products for a problem set.
- Track and optimize cloud costs to include developing cost models for IC and DoW partners.
- Support the Customer's technical forums and review boards.
- Review proposed technical solutions and architectures and provide findings.
- Have an in-depth technical understanding of the Customer's tools and assist external partners with adoption and use.
Requirements
- Experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems that handle extremely sensitive data.
- Experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems on multiple network fabrics.
- Experience with Cloud Service Providers (CSP) offerings, specifically AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
- Experience optimizing cloud hosted systems for cost and performance efficiencies.
- Experience designing, developing, or maintaining systems used globally.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures.
- Experience designing or maintaining on-prem architectures.

Skills
- Experience with Service of Common Concern (SoCC) programs.
- Experience with DevOps processes.

- Experience with the Customer's Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes and procedures.
