About the role

B4Corp is seeking a Systems Architect with a strong background in software development and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will have a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with a polygraph, 10+ years of software development experience, 5+ years of Linux software development experience, 5+ years of experience designing software for cloud-based systems, and 3+ years of experience with AWS. Experience with DevOps solutions is also required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architecture
  • Develop and maintain software documentation and technical specifications
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes

Requirements

  • Mandatory Requirements:
    • Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
    • Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
    • Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
    • Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
    • SME (16+ years’ experience)

Qualifications

  • Experience as a team's software architect, lead software developer, lead DevOps engineer, or similar technical leadership role
  • 10+ years' software development experience
  • 5+ years' Linux software development experience
  • 5+ years' experience designing software for cloud-based systems
  • 3+ years' experience with AWS
  • 2+ years' experience developing DevOps solutions

Skills

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies
  • Proficient in Linux operating systems
  • Experience with cloud-based systems and AWS
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
