About the role

B4Corp is a small defense contracting company focused on supporting the United States of America's intelligence community and other defense organizations. We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance who can demonstrate expertise in AWS infrastructure security and access controls, adapt technology to user needs, and communicate technical information to non-technical individuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software development activities according to software development best practices.
• Configure CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
• Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Manage and maintain version control systems (Git).
• Write scripts in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Participate in Agile development practices.
• Convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Provide strategic thinking and a big-picture perspective.
• Manage time effectively and organize tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Mandatory Requirements:
• Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
• Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
• Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
• Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
• SME (16+ years’ experience)
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles.
• CI/CD Knowledge: Proven experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Jenkins, Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).
• Methodology: Familiarity with Agile development practices.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).

Qualifications

• Preferred Skills:
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with test frameworks.
