About the role

This role requires an experienced Agile Scrum Master to work in a IC environment. This role performs project management tasks to coordinate and prioritize user stories for implementation by team members. This role provides Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and metrics generation and analysis in order to track overall efficiency of software delivery across team. Finally, this role facilitates horizontal communication across team member to identify any impediments that may prevent team progress while working mitigation plans as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides Agile DevOps support to mission critical systems.
• Provides technical expertise and support in the design, development, implementation and testing of the customer tools and applications in support of Extracting, Transforming and Loading data into an enterprise Data Lake.
• Develops and directs software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon and uses integrated custom developed software solutions to leverage automated deployment technologies.
• Supports the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices while coordinating closely with team members, Product Owners and Scrum Masters to ensure User Story alignment and implementation to customer use cases.
• Develops custom code/scripts to quickly extract, triage and exploit data across domains and data stores.

Qualifications

• Extensive use and experience in common Agile practices, service-orientated environments, and development practices
• Extensive experience with Java and the Spring Framework, microservices architecture and design patterns, implementing RESTful APIs, and integrating with relational and NoSQL databases
• Extensive experience with writing software that interfaces with data technologies like Elasticsearch, Postgres, DynamoDB, Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, AWS Lambda, and AWS S3
• Extensive experience integrating with and delivering within DevOps toolsets/practices
• Direct experience utilizing software testing performance tools, such as Junit and scripting languages, such as Python, and Bash while working in an Agile development environment
• Extensive experience with development in Commercial Cloud Platforms (ex, AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and leveraging cloud data services (ex: S3, RDS, EFS)
• Extensive experience using version control systems and issue/problem tracking systems
• Master’s degree with 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Doctorate with 13+ years of relevant experience
