About The Role
The Processing Liquid Receiving Line Operator is a senior-level, leadership-oriented role overseeing the most complex and detailed operations in the Processing department. You’ll coordinate daily activities under minimal supervision, mentor team members, and ensure flawless execution across production, sanitation, quality, and maintenance processes. This role demands technical mastery, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication, supported by years of hands-on experience.
Responsibilities
Production Leadership
- Lead and organize daily processing operations, including staffing, scheduling, and workflow coordination
- Oversee changeovers, ensure production accuracy, and drive operational efficiency
- Train team members in EMC Operation, Ingredient Handling, Equipment Cleaning, and Liquid Receiving
- Manage SAP transactions, scheduling, and product staging processes
- Ensure product integrity by following established QCDSM principles
Sanitation & Maintenance
- Direct and verify all sanitation processes for compliance
- Schedule and record periodic cleanings
- Coordinate situational maintenance with mechanics; perform basic calibrations and repairs
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain product quality standards and verify HACCP/GMP documentation
- Resolve quality issues and monitor corrective actions
- Uphold ISO 14001 environmental guidelines and reporting standards
Safety Leadership
- Promote and enforce safety standards during equipment operation and clean-up
- Lead by example as a safety-first advocate
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally
- Work in warm environments (up to 90°F) with some wet/slippery conditions during clean-up
Full competency expected after 12–18 months of comprehensive training, including leadership and technical certifications.
