Job Description
The position is up to 12 months, with the option of extension, and is located in Columbia, SC. Corp to Corp assignments are not allowed for this client.
Requirements
- IBM Curam experience
- Bachelor’s degree needed
- Prior government experience preferred
- Remote work only for prior approval
Responsibilities
- Evaluate agency needs and business processes
- Provide analysis and advice on information technology solutions
- Document business processes and requirements
- Serve as a liaison between business programs and IT organization
- Analyze business partner's operations
- Assist in business process redesign and documentation
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Manage changes to functional specifications
- Provide requirements interpretation and guidance
- Identify risks, issues, and solutions
- Interact with internal and external organizations
- Make recommendations for buy vs. build decisions
- Research business rules, requirements, and models
- Maintain business rules, requirements, and models in a repository
Qualifications
- 1 year of business analysis experience
- 1 year of experience in government IT projects as a business analyst or related duties
- 1 year of experience eliciting, mining, and documenting business rules, processes
- 2 years of Medicaid Eligibility or other healthcare insurance experience
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Experience and ability to obtain business processes and requirements information
- Knowledge of formal business process documentation
- Understanding of business modeling techniques
