About the role

The Army National Guard seeks Environmental Scientists to join their team of Medical Corps Officers. These officers will utilize their knowledge of biology, environmental health, and industrial hygiene to prevent illness and injury, ensuring the health and vitality of the men and women serving.

Responsibilities

• Prevent illness and injury through understanding of biology, environmental health, and industrial hygiene
• Stand among heroes as a commissioned Medical Corps Officer
• Collaborate with other health care professionals to enhance skills and eliminate distractions typical of civilian practices
• Earn while learning in a supportive and collaborative environment

Requirements

• Meet prescribed medical and moral standards for appointment as a commissioned Officer
• Be a United States citizen
• Complete an accredited qualifying degree program
• Be 21 years of age (some Advanced Practice Medical Professionals may join up to age 58)
• Able to obtain a secret security clearance
