About the role

The Army National Guard seeks Environmental Scientists to join their team of Medical Corps Officers. These officers will use their knowledge of biology, environmental health, and industrial hygiene to prevent illness and injury, ensuring the health and vitality of those who serve.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the health and safety of communities and the nation
• Collaborate with health care professionals to enhance skills and eliminate distractions
• Earn while learning through practical experience

Requirements

• Meet prescribed medical and moral standards for appointment as a commissioned Officer
• Be a United States citizen
• Complete an accredited qualifying degree program
• Be 21 years of age (some Advanced Practice Medical Professionals may join up to age 58)
• Able to obtain a secret security clearance
