About the role
The Army National Guard seeks Environmental Scientists to join their team of Medical Corps Officers. Your expertise in biology, environmental health, and industrial hygiene will contribute to preventing illnesses and injuries.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the health and vitality of the men and women who serve in the National Guard.
- Collaborate with health care professionals to enhance your skills and eliminate distractions typical of civilian practices.
- Earn while you learn in a supportive environment where you can both practice and lead.
Requirements
- Meet the prescribed medical and moral standards for appointment as a commissioned Officer.
- Be a United States citizen.
- Complete an accredited qualifying degree program.
- Be 21 years of age (some Advanced Practice Medical Professionals may join up to age 58).
- Able to obtain a secret security clearance.

Pay
Actual assignment may depend on position availability. Non-prior service candidates will earn between $196.26 and $254.91 per drill weekend.
