71200 - Thoracic and Surgical Specialty - Assistant Nurse Manager

Responsibilities

• Supports standards of care and provides consultation and expertise in the delivery of patient care.
• Serves as a resource, consults as requested, and communicates effectively within the unit and service.
• Participates in community and professional organizations, demonstrating commitment to the promotion of nursing's visibility and future.
• Manages human resources, develops and evaluates recruitment and retention strategies, and monitors patient outcomes.
• Assumes an expanded role as assigned by the Nurse Manager at the unit, program, or service level.

Requirements

• Thoracic Surgery experience required.
• Demonstrates ability to function in the leadership role.
• Works collaboratively with all members of the health care team and coordinates a multidisciplinary approach to care.
• Exhibits excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and demonstrates the I CARE values.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in good standing.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Pay

• $97,760.00 - $131,976.00

Schedule

• FT position available.
• 8 & 12 hour shifts.
• Holidays and weekends per unit policy.
