About the role

Lids Sports Group is seeking a Store Manager to lead and engage a dynamic team in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of driving sales and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hiring strategy and onboarding new team members
  • Create a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Train and supervise team members to ensure optimal customer service
  • Lead operations, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management
  • Drive product strategy and visual merchandising
  • Manage customer feedback and resolve issues
  • Execute special pricing and promotional presentations
  • Ensure compliance with policies and procedures

  • Established ability to produce sales results
  • Proven supervisory skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and travel as needed
  • Managerial skills

Job Required Knowledge And Skills

  • Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss
  • Proven supervisory skills, with capacity to deliver training material and assess retention
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to perform independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability and willingness to travel overnight for training and/or business meetings
  • Ability to work varying days and hours, based on business needs, and maintain an excellent attendance record
  • Proven managerial skills
