About the role

As a Store Manager at CosmoProf, you will lead a team in delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and maintaining operational excellence. You’ll manage talent, inspire your team, and ensure every customer leaves with a custom-fit solution for their hair and beauty needs. Your leadership will help the store meet or exceed sales goals, control expenses, and maintain inventory, all while upholding safety and company policies.

You’ll also ensure the store maintains a visually appealing and organized environment, reflecting the brand’s commitment to education, product, inspiration, and community.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of associates to deliver an unforgettable customer experience.
• Oversee all store operations, including sales, budget management, expense control, and inventory.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals while maintaining financial and operational standards.
• Uphold safety and security protocols for customers, associates, and store assets.
• Maintain store appearance, merchandising, and visual standards.
• Act as a role model, coach, and innovator to drive team performance and development.
• Foster a team-oriented and dynamic work environment that aligns with the company’s mission and values.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service or retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management or leadership experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Self-starter attitude with a passion for continuous learning and development.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty (cosmetology license is a plus but not required).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.
• Capability to stand for long periods, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, stretch, and reach.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines, and occasional exposure to fumes, odors, or irritant chemicals.
