About the role

As a Store Manager at CosmoProf, you will lead a team-oriented and dynamic environment, driving results and developing team associates. Your role is pivotal in managing talent, inspiring your team, and ensuring every customer receives an unforgettable, custom-fit experience for their hair and beauty needs. You will oversee all store operations, including sales goals, budget management, expense control, inventory management, and maintaining store appearance. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies to protect customers, associates, and store assets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and inspire a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Ensure the store meets or exceeds sales goals while maintaining the assigned budget.
• Control expenses, grow sales, and manage inventory effectively.
• Oversee store operations, including financial and performance management.
• Maintain store appearance to high standards.
• Enforce safety and security rules, as well as company policies.
• Educate store personnel and customers to enhance success.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of customer service/retail sales experience.
• 1 year of previous sales management experience.
• Experience in operational, financial, and performance management.
• Cosmetology license is a plus but not required.
• Self-starter attitude with a drive to continuously learn and develop.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Passion for hair and beauty.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation.

Physical Requirements

• Long periods of standing and walking.
• Recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, and reaching.
• Recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes.
• Exposure to moving parts, carts, or machines.
• Occasional exposure to fumes, odors, and irritant chemicals.
